A special meeting of the Board of Directors of Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events was held on Tuesday, July 12, 2026 at 6:00 PM virtually over Google Meet, Secretary Addy Aso-Santos being in the chair and the Secretary being present.
Directors Blask Vesperia, Violet the Fox, Gilded Zephyr, Holly Fox, Jaxari, Jaykie FenFen, Ali Avali, Kai Ekewaka, Kiro Hyena, Mercury Noodlething, Sadie, and Tani Xōcoyōtl were in attendance.
The Treasurer reported that:
The organization’s financial assets are currently $507,560. Of this, $16,250 is in our quasi-endowment for investment, and $100,000 is in a 3.83% APY certificate of deposit which matures in September.
Current known liabilities total $694,675. Assuming no further sales, the organization will remain solvent through January 31, 2027.
In addition, the Treasurer reported that:
- The Treasurer has drafted a budget for FY2027, to be reviewed at the July 12th Board meeting.
- The Treasurer intends to move funds between banks to stay under FDIC’s $250,000 limit for insurance.
- The Treasurer plans to move more funds into higher yield accounts due to the time before liabilities become due.
Chair Tani, on behalf of the LVFC Committee, reported that:
Director Tani moved adoption of a proposal for the FY27 Budget, a copy of which was distributed to all Board members and is attached to these minutes under Exhibit A.
