A special meeting of the Board of Directors of Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events was held on Thursday, September 15th, 2022, at 8:03pm virtually over Discord, the Chair presiding and acting as Secretary. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as distributed.
The meeting was called to order at 8:03pm. Three of the four Board members were present: Addy Acro-Santos, Tani Coyote, and Ivy Jackrabbit. Guests Khromatic Scale and Jane Horro were also in attendance.
Reports were given by Treasurer Ivy, Chair Addy, and Vice Chair Tani. The Treasurer reported that $3,000 was transferred to the Alexis Park Resort to cover the September deposit and that $4,468 remained in the checking account. The Treasurer also reported that she was working with Markel to get a quote for event insurance. The Vice Chair reported that the registration system will be transferred from Regfox to ConCat by tomorrow, and that the hotel room block is set to be open to the general public at the same time.
Chair Addy moved to allocate up to $500 from the checking account for the purposes of purchasing an event insurance policy that covers at least $1 million in liability. The motion was adopted after debate.
Ivy moved to allocate up to $650 from the checking account for the purpose of paying the $600 fee to file a Form 1024 with the IRS. The motion was adopted after debate.
Addy moved to appoint Khromatic Scale as Social Media Officer under Head of Marketing. The motion was adopted after debate.
Ivy moved to appoint Khromatic Scale as HR Assistant under the HR Lead. The motion was adopted after debate.
Addy moved to appoint Jane as Chatroom Moderation Lead under Head of Marketing. The motion was adopted after debate.
Addy moved to appoint Asher Graeson as Supplier Liaison, under the Con Store Lead. The motion was adopted after debate.
Addy moved to appoint Sakara as Attendee Welfare Lead, under Head of Operations. The motion was adopted after debate.
Addy moved to grant the Department of Marketing the ability to comp up to ten attendee badges for the purposes of attracting major artists. The motion was adopted after debate.
