A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events was held on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 virtually over Google Meet, the Board Chair presiding and the Secretary being present.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm. Eight out of the ten Board members were present: Addy, Tani, Kiro, Sakara, Holly, Jaykie, Sadie and Dodge. Guests Ashe, Steele, Jaxari, and Kai were also in attendance as well. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as distributed.
Reports were given by the Treasurer and Con Chair. The Treasurer reported that the organization has approximately $13,030 in the bank account, but expects an additional $330 from Stripe soon, bringing the total amount to $13,360. There is a pending expense from Lean Martin Law amounting to $2,000 to pay off the retainer fee. The Con Chair reported that LVFC 2025 will be hosted at Alexis Park from April 17th to April 20th, 2025 and they are going to establish the 2025 contract with Alexis Park. The Con Chair has taken down notes and gained advice from the executives they shadowed at BLFC this past week that they will share amongst the LVFC leads and staff. Currently, there is a total of 713 paid attendance for LVFC 2024.
Chair Tani moved to appoint Kai Dirdwolf as a legal liaison for the Board of Directors. The motion was adopted after debate.
Chair Tani moved to amend the code of conduct to ban confetti, silly string, and other items that would create litter. Attendees will be liable for cleanup costs. The motion was adopted after debate.
