Regular Meeting: October 5th, 2025

The regular quarterly meeting of the Board of Directors of Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events was held on Sunday, October 5th, 2025 virtually over Google Meet, the Board Chair being in the chair and the Secretary being present.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm. Ten out of the twelve Board members were present: Tani, Crake, Violet, Kiro, Jaykie, Kai, Amber, Sadie, Serenity, and Holly. Secretary Addy would arrive late.

The Treasurer reported that the Organization currently held $238,805 in assets. The Organization held $148,738 in Liabilities due to the hotels by the end of 2025. $50,345 in additional revenue would be needed to cover the end-of-year liabilities, but sales should be able to cover the deficit. After New Years’, increased registration and room deposits coming due Jan 15 and Feb 15 should clear any remaining obligations easily.

Chair Tani, on behalf of the Las Vegas Fur Con Committee, reported that:

Hotel sales remain strong with Embassy Suites starting to run out of 2 Doubles.

We have held our first All-Leads Meeting highlighting key documents and policy changes to try and be more organized for Year Four.

The Rooftop’s indefinite (“18 months”) closure for repairs means it is likely out of commission for our whole contract (Year 4 and 5). The Alexis Park has offered the overflow lot at no charge, but it lacks the view, furnishing, and accessibility of the Rooftop. We will be asking the Alexis Park for a reduction in our food and beverage quota and expanded access to the Parthenon ballroom on Thursday setup for compensation.

A Space Usage meeting has been scheduled between key departments to discuss and finalize exact layouts later this month.

Kai is coordinating with Ringer Shep on a Thursday evening nightclub event from 5 to 10 PM. We may or may not spin this off into a separate division of the organization if we can make quarterly events make sense. Estimated total cost: $10,000.

Block 26 applications are complete and rooms are allocated, with room revenue to increase near the end of October.

Chair Addy, on behalf of the Community Events Committee, reported that biweekly furmeets at the Center had begun.

Secretary Addy moved “that the ‘Mountain Pawprint’ logo be adopted as the official logo of Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events.” Said logo is attached to these minutes under Exhibit A. The motion was adopted after debate.

Director Serenity moved adoption of a resolution which was adopted as follows:

Resolved, That the seal shall consist of a desert landscape at sunset. In the background, an illustration of the sun setting beyond the Spring Mountains. In the foreground, a lone coyote watches the scene underneath a Joshua Tree.

The meeting adjourned at 7:50pm.
